Play Practice Resources
The two slide presentations below includes video clips that provide the ASL (American Sign Language) for the feeling phrases and key vocabulary connected to the oral story. Gunalchéesh to Jinkasee.ee (Rose Willard) and Janet Olmstead for the ASL. Kyle Worl who teaches Lingít Leadership class at Floyd Dryden Middle School introduced me to the use of American Sign Language (ASL) as a way to reduce the use of English. With every spoken word or phrase an image and sign accompany it. Kyle learned this approach from Evan Gardner, who is the developer of Where Are Your Keys (WYAK)?
